Nagpur Famous Street Food

The Nagpuri Samosa, Poha, Pani Puri, Patodi, and other regional specialties are worth trying. The fiery delicacies of Nagpur cuisine are well-known. Even the biggest foodies will be surprised by its delicious food, which may not appeal to everyone.

1.Appe

The Madhurai Meenakshi temple stall is famous for its large size appe, which is probably the largest appe in the whole of Vidarbha. It is not only famous in size but it is delicious. 

Address -  Opposite Persistent, (Main Square) IT Park Nagpur

Timing  - 5 am to 2 pm.

2.Tarri Poha

One of Nagpur's most well-known locations for Tarri Poha, Ramji Shyamji Pohe attracts large crowds while upholding high levels of service. It is mentioned by Sanskruti that "their flavor is just right, supported with a piece of fresh tomato." "Their Tarri Poha has an exactingly real taste! In addition, I value the safety precautions put in place at their little outdoor dining space. The best thing, though? It is all quite affordably priced. 

Address -  Ramji-Shyamji Pohewala, Beside Santaji Mahavidyalaya, Sneh Nagar, Chatrapati Square, Nagpur.

Timing - opens 5:00 am – 2:00 pm

3.Pani Puri

They served Pani Puri (Golgappe) and chat in filmy and unique style, their specialities is Katori chat, Cone chat and 25 flavors of Pani Puri.

Timings : 3:00 am – 10:00 pm

4.Patodi And Kadhi 

Patodiwala is famous for its mouthwatering patodi, which are flour Pakora cooked in a flavorful curry. The patodi is soft and soaked in the delicious kadhi, creating a perfect blend of flavors.

Address -  Patodiwala’s Joint, Near Nagpur Tehsil Office.

Timings : Opens at 10:15am – 6:45 pm

5.Nagpuri Samosa

The samosas at this shop near Nagpur Telengkhedi are really delightful. These crispy, triangular with a delicious mixture of spiced potatoes, peas and aromatic herbs. With the perfect balance of flavours, they are fried until golden, resulting in a satisfying crunch with every bite. Whether enjoyed alone or with chutney, these samosas will definitely leave you craving for more!

Timings: open at 11:00am – 11:00 pm.

6.Anda Pav

 

Haji Mohammad Israel ande vala is special for its anda pav because they serve the most amazing egg pavs in town! The combination of fluffy pav bread and perfectly cooked eggs creates a mouthwatering and satisfying meal. It's a must-try for all egg lovers out there!

Address -  Haji Mohhamad Israel Ande Wale, Mohammad Ali Rd, Bakramandi, Mominpura, and Nagpur.

Timings: 5:30 pm to 12 midnight.

7.Matka Biriyani

Babbu Biryani Centre is known for its special matka biryani. The biryani is cooked in traditional clay pots, which gives it a unique and origianl flavor. The combination of fragrant, breakable meat, and fragrant rice cooked in the matka creates a delightful and flavorful biryani experience. It's definitely worth a try if you're a biryani lover!

Timings: 10:00 am – 11:00 pm.
